Associated Independent Stores, or AIS, is the largest independent, non-food buying group of its kind in the UK with a combined membership turnover of around £1.8 billion. The group has a membership of 270 independent department store and specialist retailers across the UK, Ireland and Channel Islands. AIS offers key services specifically designed to meet its members needs such as central payment facilities (CENPAC), training, marketing, procurement and information technology.
With over 40 AIS member stores currently using retail systems implemented or supported by Touchretail, we are undoubtedly one of the leading suppliers of retail technology to the Group. Many AIS specific modules are available as part of the Retail Accounts management reporting and accounting software suite, such as full CENPAC (Central Payment of Account) facilities and integration, and electronic import of purchase invoices for goods received matching.
