After a trial Touchretail EPOS system in one department of the Barkers Department Store (see blog post GIVe at Barkers), Barkers appointed Touchretail to replace the EPOS system at their Furnishing Store in Northallerton.

The modern furniture store was purpose-built, and the sales floor area has already been recently extended. Barkers Furnishing store offers a wide range of high quality, top brand furniture and accessories. Sofas, Recliners, Upholstery, Dining, Beds, Mattresses, Bedroom Furniture - and a well stocked lighting department. The store is complemented by the recently re-designed and re-fitted Terrace Cafe.

Touchretail's EPOS software is able to accommodate cashiers and sales assistants to help calculate the salesperson's commissions. A suite of back-office reports enable management to see sales totals across the various departments in real-time, and also to have year-on-year sales statistics. The EPOS terminals have integrated EFT software for fully PCI compliant card transaction processing.
