Retail Technology Cover Story
Tuesday, April 6th, 2010E-Commerce Expo Olympia
Friday, November 28th, 2008The E-Commerce Expo 2008 at Olympia was targeted by Touchretail as the launch of the new branding. Making sure that the website, artwork, new stationery and exhibition stand display materials were all ready in time for the exhibition has been an exciting project.
Stu Francis says: ‘Having responsibility for technical development I don’t often have the opportunity to meet customers, so it was great to see some of our existing clients at the exhibition. But I’ve already spoken to some that visited us several times but each time we were all busy on the stand – so apologies to those of you that we did not have the chance to say hello to. It was also useful to talk to many consultants and suppliers who were looking to develop strategic business partnerships – that proves that our solution fills those gaps that these people or their clients have identified.’
David Powell (sales director) adds: ‘We were pleased with the amount of direct prospects that were gained at the exhibition. However as the launch of our new Touchretail name it was a good exercise in getting us and our solutions recognised by other suppliers and businesses in the multi-channel retailing arena. I think we were the only exhibitor that had an EPOS terminal on our stand – that said something to the retailers that visited the show!’
