Fashion mini-chain Real Clothing in Nottinghamshire installed Touchretail’s E-commerce EPOS as their business became multi-channel. After Real Clothing lost confidence in their legacy system, Touchretail were selected to supply the stock control, EPOS and e-commerce integration. Touchretail’s existing portfolio of similar fashion retailers helped the owners of Real Clothing, Rupert and Lucy Adams, to make a confident decision about their choice of new service provider.

Top skate shop Skate Shack in the Metro Centre Gateshead went live with their new Touchretail EPOS system last week. The relatively quiet spell between back to school and the next half term was the ideal time to implement a new system for the busy multi-channel retailer. In a week where riots throughout London and other English cities have brought despair and destruction, it’s been difficult to see any signs of good news. Touchretail client Zee and Co had their store in Roman Road, Bow completely emptied by looters – the picture showing the aftermath of the destruction caused. As website sales continue to grow at leading London-based fashion retailer Zee and Co, they have started to roll out Touchretail’s new online EPOS tills across the 6 stores. The first store to benefit from online sales and stock updating is the mens store in Loughton, Essex.

Store manager Greg Porter comments: ‘The old till has served us well for many years. But the advance to the new Touchretail EPOS till is stunning. We retain all the functionality that we had before, plus our sales update the head office stock system and the website straight away – awesome!’

Touchretail installed their new online EPOS updating system running on the Aures Galeo hardware.

Concept Retail has opted for the new Galeo EPOS terminal from Aures for four of their ‘Designer Outlet’ fascia stores. The four stores implemented the new terminals, did a stocktake, re-ticketed merchandise and went live with online sales updating all within a 24-hour period! David Powell from Touchretail commented ‘The new Touchretail EPOS terminals can be pre-configured by our technical team so that installation and rollout is a breeze. This is very important for fast moving retailers like Concept Retail, so that downtime and staff training time are kept to an absolute minimum. The Galeo terminals have been accepted well as a combination of modern appearance and sturdy construction’.
