Touchretail have been awarded the contract to provide an improved stock control system for official London 2012 merchandise stores. Event Merchandising, who operate the group of six London 2012 stores, were looking for a company able to utilise existing POS terminals and provide better reporting and stock control between warehouse and the stores.

Specialist sports retailer Sputnik of Marlow asked Touchretail for a Mobile POS solution for their stand at the Ski and Snowboard Show, Earls Court this week. Top skate shop Skate Shack in the Metro Centre Gateshead went live with their new Touchretail EPOS system last week. The relatively quiet spell between back to school and the next half term was the ideal time to implement a new system for the busy multi-channel retailer. Touchretail’s e-commerce integration facility was a great driver for business owners Lee and Paula Elliott when deciding on the best system to use for their specialist business. Another important benefit is that Touchretail have experience with several other clients who are skate, skateboard and snowboard specialist retailers.
Fashion footwear specialist Linzi Shoes called on Touchretail’s shoe system help with the opening of their new store at Westfield Stratford City. Although Linzi had recently implemented a system from an alternative supplier, they were not getting information quickly or accurate enough for their fast-moving business. Linzi approached Touchretail to replace their current inventory and EPOS system only weeks before the opening of their latest store at the Westfield Stratford City (WSC) retail centre.

The latest release of Rapidstock includes a facility to bulk-transfer the stock for all website sales. This is particularly useful for businesses that despatch all goods for website sales from a specific branch, which is NOT the website branch. These businesses will typically have the website sales coming in as a separate branch – for easy and instant monitoring of website sales against shop sales, but will hold all stock for website sales at the same branch as the stock for the shop sales. This may be the shop location, or a warehouse location.

After a detailed research process, Attic selected Touchretail because of their experience in dealing with other independent fashion retailers with similar requirements.
Mash Clothing have specialised in womens high fashion retailing at their Penzance store for 20 years. With the opening of their second store in Bodmin recently the owners Frank and Wendy Darmanin took the opportunity to review their management systems, and have implemented Touchretail’s EPOS systems with Salespush real-time sales and stock updating between the two stores.
