Recognised by those in the know as one of Ireland’s hottest labels, Counter Propaganda have supported the opening of their second retail store in Dublin with the installation of Touchretail EPOS and stock control by The IT Department.



When The IT Department (Touchretail’s distributor in Ireland) first met up with Counter Propaganda, a simple stock system for CRPR’s store in Dublin City’s St Stephens Green Centre was ordered, with a view to possible expansion in the future. That future expansion became a reality within a month as CRPR decided to open a second store in Blanchardstown, and move to a full-on multi-store system with online sales and stock updating.



The IT Department were able to meet the challenge and install the system on time, including a conversion to a Hosted System type of operation so that both stores can access real-time stock and sales data. Jason Scott, retail systems specialist at The IT Department, commented: ‘We had no sooner completed the training period for the initial installation when CRPR asked about expansion of their 1-store 1-till system to a multi-store system with Hosted Service capability.

‘The guys at Touchretail came up trumps and we were able to deliver the upgraded system in time for the new store opening. We are really pleased to have met Counter Propaganda’s deadline, and to be associated with such a leading edge retailer and wholesaler.’



Counter Propaganda has acquired a devoted following in Ireland and increasingly outside Ireland, known for funky and distinctive hoodies, T-shirts and sweats heavily influenced by hip-hop and styled with pop culture graphics plus a touch of humour and political satire.
