Integrated EFT for your EPoS System

Touchretail EPOS systems provide the latest EFT (electronic funds transfer) software integration using the Sentinel solution (developed by Touchretail’s developer partner Commidea). 

Sentinel provides the highest security levels in card data processing, using fully encrypted data from terminal to bank – known as E2EE (end to end encryption). 

The card reader used for the Sentinel solution is the popular VeriFone Vx810. Because Sentinel is fully integrated into Touchretail’s POS software, the card transaction is seamless. Prompts appear both on the till screen for the cashier and on the card reader for the customer, so the cashier remains in full control of the transaction – even reminding the customer to remove their card. Because the transaction does not finalise until the card is removed from the reader, the customer cannot leave their card behind.

There is usually a software licence cost to set up the integrated EFT, and monthly processing charges are similar to what most other card processing companies charge. Included in the service charge is a useful card transaction reporting and querying tool called WebCom.
