Furniture Exhibition Centres Ltd - better known simply as Worcester Furniture – have traded as a quality furniture retailer at their Worcester site since 1972. This was followed by a second store in 1975 established in a large Victorian warehouse overlooking Gloucester Historic Docks.

Worcester Furniture are a member of the Minerva Group (the well respected buying group specifically for furniture retailers) and have been a long-standing customer of Touchretail. Having originally used DOS-based systems, Touchretail have helped to migrate Worcester Furniture from their legacy systems by a managed and painless transition process.

The FRS-POS solution was implemented by Touchretail across the business, and the real-time stock availability across both stores and the warehouse is a major benefit for Worcester Furniture, who advertise over 1,000 items in stock at any time.

All sales staff in the stores are happy to key customer orders and sales directly into FRS-POS, saving back office time.

The system features full integration between FRS-POS and Retail Accounts. QAS quick-address is integrated into FRS-POS for validation of customer addresses. The furniture product catalogue is managed by X-Margin, as are price manipulation, price books and instore display tickets.
