On March 17th 1971 Mr R Kingsley and Mr D Kingsley launched Jonathan Trumbull in Norwich, with the intention of delivering contemporary fashion to Norwich. The original premises on St. Stephens Street quickly became too small to cope with increasing demand and in 1976, Hatters was opened in White Lion Street to perfectly complement those labels already offered in Jonathan Trumbull. The business has gone from strength to strength with Ginger ladieswear opening on part of the first floor of Hatters in 1978, this too became incredibly successful and proceeded to move into a larger beautifully renovated premises on Timber Hill in 1992, offering a range of fashionable classic and casual wear.
