Hervia Bazaar, an exquisite luxury fashion store for men and women is now open on Spring Gardens in Manchester. Magnificent fittings in the store include original cabinets from London's Dorchester Hotel salvaged prior to its refit, an illuminated glass curved wall and an incredible art deco chandelier made from Murano glass provides the central lighting fixture in the 2,000 sq ft boutique.  

Managing Director Oscar Pinto-Hervia gained confidence with Touchretail's systems and support while using the services in their other retail business as the leading UK franchisee for Vivienne Westwood.  

Hervia Limited, run by Oscar Pinto-Hervia and Richard Duncalf had over 20 years experience of retail and designer fashion before deciding to concentrate solely on the UK expansion of the Vivienne Westwood Brand in 1997. They were amongst the first to sell Alexander McQueen and Helmut Lang in their Manchester award-winning boutique, Hervia from 1993-1997. Since 1995, they have opened eight Vivienne Westwood mono-brand UK stores, and these were all recently converted from legacy systems to Touchretail, in order to have real-time updating between retail stores, head office and the website.

They have recently appointed Touchretail to manage the stock control, EPOS and website interface for their new Hervia Bazaar boutique.

The brand directory of the store is a veritable feast of directional design including Comme Des Garcons, Antonio Berardi, Yohji Yamamoto, Hussein Chalayan, House of Holland, Pierre Hardy, Gareth Pugh, Jean Charles de Castelbajac and Rick Owens. Hervia Bazaar will also showcase a collection of the most innovative and contemporary jewellery and shoe designers in the world.

Oscar says, “It has been a dream of mine for many years to bring exciting, directional designers together in one luxury space.  I have felt for a while there was a lack of choice in Manchester when it came to buying clothes of great quality and style."
