Keens Interiors have a 3-storey furniture store in Belfast. Their eclectic blend of Designer Furniture Ranges, Occasional Furniture and Wall Art sits happily alongside more traditional styles, offering their customers a fantastic selection and choice - with many items available to deliver from stock.
Johnny Smyth, second generation of the family that own Keens Interiors, searches far and wide to bring that something different to their store. Johnny has also headed up the search for a Furniture Retail System. Johnny explains:
‘The introduction of a Furniture Stock Control System is key to our continued growth. We chose Touchretail as our Furniture Software supplier following research, talking to other Furniture Retailers, and seeing the system in action at a reference site of our choosing. We would particularly like to thank Darius Graham at Algram in Ballymena, who gave up his time to show us the system working in a real situation. We are very excited about the opportunity Touchretail’s Furniture Retail System provides Keens Interiors to become more efficient in the office and more professional in our delivery commitments to our customers.’
Hosted Furniture System
Keens Interiors have opted to have a Hosted System, as this saves the cost and management of a server. Touchretail have supplied a Hosted Software Service to include catalogue uploading from suppliers, product pricing and manipulation, full instore furniture inventory, sales orders, purchase orders, delivery scheduling and reporting. A barcode reader has been installed so that products can be booked in, tracked and sold by their barcode.
