Leonard Silver, founded in 1946, has traded successfully for three generations and is recognised as one of the most established menswear stores in the country, enjoying a reputation for both quality and service.

Having developed from its roots in bespoke tailoring and the pioneering days of the hand-made ready to wear suit, the business flourished during the sixties fashion boom, attracting a younger and more style conscious consumer. In the next decade a second shop was opened in the nearby prosperous market town of Beverley, thereby enabling the company to expand its customer base.
Progress continued with the introduction of new and prestigious designer labels for an ensuing fashion culture which is still prominent up to the present day.
Leonard Silver has always maintained its position at the forefront of an ever changing market, combining traditional values with current trends. The diversity of its offer is reflected by the title “The Complete Manshop”.
