  Hervia Limited, based in Manchester, are the UK’s largest operator of Vivienne Westwood stores with six stores across the north of England, an Anglomania store in Manchester and a successful Vivienne Westwood website at hervia.com.

  When looking for a new system Hervia’s original plan was to replace their legacy system early in 2010. But when the directors saw the online functionality offered by Touchretail they brought forward their implementation to pre-Christmas.

  David Powell, sales director at Touchretail, comments: ‘We are very pleased to gain such a well respected and firmly established business as Hervia. We were awarded the contract to replace their legacy system but with a very tight schedule to upgrade all stores EPOS systems, program a back office data conversion from their legacy system, and to introduce a real-time interface to their online store.

  ‘Although it was a challenge, our team at Touchretail worked very hard and established a good relationship with key management at Hervia. We were able to go live according to plan, and within the agreed budget. I believe that our go-live and post-implementation support has been instrumental in the success of the project.’
