- Robert Fuller

Robert Fuller was founded in 1953 by it's namesake in Banstead, Surrey, with the policy of selling quality men's tailoring and outfitting. Larger premises were needed to cope with a growing business. This led to Robert Fuller being moved to its current location in 1959.

A substantial tailoring business continued through the sixties and seventies selling the highest quality product of its time. Bill Chapman acquired the business from Robert Fuller in 1985. Keeping the same name, Bill introduced European tailoring brands such as Armani Collezioni, Boss and Pal Zileri, always with quality in mind. This led to the development of a casual wear offer from the likes of Armani Jeans, Stone Island and Gant, among others.
A second store was opened in the surrey village of Oxted in 1997.
