Russell Jones and Mark Robinson have opened a Mens and ladies fashion store in the market town of Bawtry, near Doncaster. The business is trading from the same premises as the long-established Robinsons of Bawtry (no connection with Mark Robinson), but after acquiring the business Jones & Robinson closed the store and totally re-vamped the premises both inside and out.


 
Although the original trading name “ROBINSONS” has been retained, the new owners have been keen to make it obvious that it is a new business with new ideas. Having already secured names such as: Hugo Boss, Polo Ralph Lauren, Armani, Stone Island, CP Company, Elvis Jesus, Affliction and Lyle & Scott for men together with: Polo Ralph Lauren, Armani, Mulberry, McQueen, SOS and Citizen for ladies.  Jones & Robinson are on the lookout for other brands to enhance their collections.


 
High priority was given to the stock control requirements. Touchretail’s expertise in implementing integrated systems for similar fashion retailers was a key factor in the decision. Russell Jones comments: ‘With new investment and new ideas we have created an exciting business at Robinsons, but this is only the start.
