If the Connect button is disabled you will need to change a setting in your browser to enable Microsoft Terminal Services Client Control

For Internet Explorer 8
Click Tools / Manage Add-ons / Enable Disable Add-ons
Select the entry for Microsoft Terminal Services Client Control
Click Enable in the settings box
Click OK
