Walk In operate a warehouse that services their 4 ladies fashion stores in north-west London.

Touchretail have implemented their POS software at each of the stores, linked to the Rapidstock stock system at the warehouse and head office. Thermal barcode ticket production and Hand Held Terminals for stocktakes have also been implemented at Walk In.

Ayaz Wali, one of the directors of Apexoak Ltd who operate Walk In, comments: ‘While online updating is very good, it was important to us that our new EPOS provider could put in a system that would work just as well if the broadband was down for any length of time. Touchretail’s system not only saves up the sales data until the line is up again, but they are also able to update sales and stock by memory stick if the broadband is down for several days.
