10th March 2011 saw the attendance of Yohji Yamamoto and Zinedine Zidane for the opening of the first Y-3 flagship store in London, in collaboration with luxury retail partner Hervia. Located on 54 Conduit Street, Mayfair the first Y-3 stand alone store in the UK sits across from the Yohji Yamamoto boutique. Touchretail have provided the back office stock control and instore EPOS for the Y-3 Mayfair store, in addition to the GCAS Y-3 Gift Card module. 

The store’s interior, featuring industrial materials and an ultra-clean aesthetic, perfectly reflects the brand’s global signature retail concept. The 200 square metres, two floor space has been customized to reflect a modern aesthetic with clean lines and great depth. By using a touch screen embedded into the counter surface, Touchretail’s system is completely invisible to store customers, and is in keeping with the Y-3 interior design. 

The Y-3 store IT system was awarded to Touchretail following the success of the existing system in other stores operated by Y-3 retail partner Hervia, including Vivienne Westwood and Hervia Bazaar stores. The installation underlines Touchretail’s credentials for supplying integrated solutions to premium fashion retailers. 

Y-3 Conduit Street will debut with the Spring/Summer 2011 collection and will carry the full range including men's and women's apparel, footwear, accessories as well as the kid’s range.
