Diffusion, a Multi-brand mainstay six store designer fashion retailer, integrate company-wide stock availability with the Farfetch fashion portal.
Diffusion continues to adapt and thrive
Since laying its roots in 1989, Diffusion has evolved from a single independent store to a multi-brand mainstay with six stores. Diffusion’s catalogue appeals to a diverse clientele including ranges for men, women and children, complete with an international presence via their diffusiononline.co.uk website. Despite the challenges of the ever-changing retail climate, Diffusion continues to adapt and thrive yet not lose the principles that the company’s foundations were built upon.
Farfetch is an industry leader and pioneer
Farfetch is the online platform for fashion, an industry leader and pioneer. Their vision is to be the global technology platform for the luxury fashion industry, with their customer at its heart.
How Diffusion are ensuring accurate stock availability on Farfetch
Diffusion are using the TRIMS Farfetch connector. A TRIMS connector developed by Farfetch themselves to update the Farfetch stock availability as and when stock changes are detected. If a sale or stock movement occurs on Diffusion’s website, or at any of their stores, the change is detected by Farfetch and the Farfetch platform updates to match the new company-wide stock availability figure. This process greatly reduces the chance of overselling and being unable to fulfil a Farfetch sale - which anyone using Farfetch will know is a costly error.
