Klarna + TRIMS: A Simple In-Store Customer Journey

Klarna is now available for your in-store customers via TRIMS. Klarna transactions take an average of 1-2 minutes. See how simple the process is at the till for you and your customers.

With our TRIMS + Klarna integration, your till will have Klarna as an option under ‘Tenders’. Once Klarna is selected, you can send the customer a link via email or SMS. Alternatively, ask them to scan a QR code.

What the Customer Sees

The customer receives a link from Klarna in a text or email and is directed to their website.

The customer is asked which payment method they want to use and for how long, for example, three monthly instalments.

The customer enters their details.

If they are an existing Klarna customer, they don’t need to enter their details and will go straight to the confirmation page.

After a very fast, soft credit check, Klarna approves the transaction and the customer sees the payment success page.

The Klarna Payment is Complete

The till operator can see that the transaction is approved and is able to release the goods. Klarna pays you, the retailer, immediately and your customer walks away happy with the flexibility of 'buy now, pay later'.
