When Ali Harrison planned her retail business in the small town of Rainford (near St Helens) she needed to have sufficient range of stock to keep regular shoppers interested yet remain within the confines of the renovated building. Following a total internal renovation and a lot of external work, the new store was finally ready and launched as Ellamora on 21st August 2016.

Requirement and Challenges
The ability to process all items from Purchase Order to Goods Received and Sales was important.
In addition to monitoring the business performance, Ali needed to spot key performance indicators and trends quickly. Ellamora also needed to encourage loyal customers, while finding out which customers are buying womens or baby products.
Most importantly, Ali wanted the EPOS system provider to be reliable, friendly and used to dealing with independent retailers.
Being new to the data entry side of retail, Ali was surprised how quickly she was able to utilise TRIMS for her business.
TRIMS sell-through reports by category and brand provide accurate information which can be drilled down to any level to provide either top-down or ground-up analysis. The Customer Loyalty add-on and ecommerce integration are aspects of TRIMS which will be useful as the Ellamora business develops.
