About Pockets Designer Menswear

An exquisite blend of unusual continental menswear brands and staple favourites

Pockets curate an exquisite blend of unusual continental menswear brands and staple favourites from UK, Italy, Germany and further afield.

While their stores span the heart of England across Staffordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire and Cheshire, Pockets have more recently grown their online offer to accommodate an appreciative international customer base.

Pockets needed a digital fashion EPOS system

It was obvious that a new multi-channel epos system had to be implemented

Pockets had developed an efficient manual stock control system over many years which satisfied the requirements of the 5-store mini-chain. However when they decided to invest in a new website and increase their ecommerce presence, it was obvious that a new multi-channel EPOS system had to be implemented.

Having planned to introduce a new Magento-based website it was important that the new system had proven success with Magento integration and real-time updating.

Pockets now have full business-wide inventory and reporting, and a fully integrated online store

New systems require new procedures, especially for a business well versed with a manual system. The implementation process involved a phased installation, starting with back office and a single EPOS till in one store. This enabled new procedures to be established to aid rollout to the other stores, as well as allowing the API to be set up at an early stage for testing with the new Magento ecommerce platform (provided by Clear Design).

The total rollout spanned more than a year, and Pockets now have full business-wide inventory and reporting, and a fully integrated online store.
